Can anyone give me some ideas for gifts I could get FH for under 50? He loves food but it doesn't have to be food related. We decided to cap the Christmas gift at $50 in order to keep saving for hte wedding which is fast approaching.

A sweater from J Crew? I think they have merino wool sweaters on sale for $39.99....
Or a nice watch? I think Kenneth Cole Reaction watches can fall around that range.. or a Fossil.

If he loves food why don't you get him a GC to one of his favorite restaurants, maybe someplace he likes to go to with the guys.
Or you can get him a nice big basket from Hickory Farms with meats and cheeses.

I wish i could help mine and FH's limit was 50 too.. ended up with 500 ugggg that hurts 4 months before the wedding but hey he loves his new video game system haha

If you mean cooking by food-you can be creative and print a bunch of recipes (things he likes)online and put them in a nice binder. Then get some kitchen stuff-maybe an apron, some utensils, etc and make a cute gift basket.

what bout cologne, clothes, some type of sports tickets--although i dont know bout 50 dollars i know u can get a baseball game for that but not sure of any other sports

Our limit was $50 also. We do not live together and he lives at home. He has no tools. Just needs some basic stuff like a hammer, screwdriver things like that. So I went to Home Depot and got him a 95 piece tool set that came with a storage bin for $49.99.
I hope he likes it. So after were married he cant tell me he cant hang up our pictures!!

Our limit was $50 last year and I bought FH gift certificates to get his car washed at this place that does it by hand. He loved it!

Great idea... Someone gave us an engagement gift of a book called 'The Bride & Groom Cookbook'. Its a great book with recipes for you to cook together! They prob have it at Borders or something...
