I am new to the site and have a 5000 budget, I currently reside in the ATL and FH lives in brooklyn. We are having are wedding in brooklyn at his family church and we are currently looking for a reception site. A friend of mine church as a hall in brooklyn for rent for 2800 hall rental and a package with food (1 entree) for 4500. We also are looking into the The Harvest Room in Jamica Queens, has any one heard of this place and can offer advice on such a limited budget. thank you.

I don't know any places in Queens. But it's feasable on LI. It depends how many guests you have, etc????
Does that includes your dress, tuxido, flowers, photographer?

no that doesn't include my dress that is for the food and reception location. I got a great deal on my dress , i found a bridal shop in atlanta that was going out of business and I paid around 300 for an alfred angelo dress and alterations. I am going to be doing a lot of DIY projects. I have been doing a lot of research and I am just having a tough time. the flowers will be fake ones for the bridal party except for mine.
