50's Themed Bridesmaid Dress ... HELP!!!

I am trying to go for 50's themed bridesmaid dresses... and from what I have seen no one makes them from the popular designers.

Has ANYONE seen anything 50's themed ... I am looking for: cinched wasit, strapless, tool full skirt, and tea length (to the ankle).

This dress is very similar to what I am looking for... the problem with this dress is i do not know who makes it ... i found the pictue but no name/designer etc.

You would make my day if someone could help :)

My advice is to just make appts. at bridal stores and when you call up you can tell them what you're looking for- I'm sure they can help u!!

I wish ... everyone kind of just shakes their head and is like we dont have that here. Its so frustrating!!!

I know they are not all tulle skirts but they are all similar to the style you wanted. Ordering off of the internet is daunting but follow their size charts and contact them about their return policy just in case it doesn't work for the girls you are dressing. Also this website has great stuff!

I've been told mine look like dresses from that era, although they aren't strapless. They are Alfred Sung, maybe he has something similar to what you are looking for?

i love that alfred sung dress!! i wanted to do that dress in a royal blue for my girls so bad but at the last minute i decided to do long dresses i still think that dress is amazing!!

I think that dress (original dress posted up top) is Jessica McClintock; looks like just like my niece's sweet 16 dress. Good luck!

I saw a whole spread in a David's Bridal ad once that was 50's themed. You're not going to find the tulle skirt, but they had like a jade green tea length strapless gown and added an optional black sash at the waist and the girls were wearing black birdcages and accessories. It was adorable
