Sorry again for the delayed question yesterday!!! I hope everyone has a Happy Mother's Day especially the moms on here and any others in your life!
My last QOTD may have been asked before but for the newer girls maybe not.....
For your engagement ring, were you very involved with how it would look or did you leave it up to your FH, FH's how did you handle it???
I knew what I wanted way before I started dating FH so I was very specific of the design and he followed my request accordingly . Also feel free to attach a pic, thought that could be fun. My finger is a little swollen bc we got engaged on an extremely hot day and it is a little blurry bc from a camera phone haha...
Also, I will be posting the new BOTW tonight, enjoy!!!
I had actually drawn a pic of what I wanted for FH He knew exactly what I wanted, and when he went to go buy it, he took my mom with me. They set up the ring the way I wanted it. I wanted a marquis stone with a trillion stone on either side. My mother hated it. So then they did the marquis stone with a baguette on each side. My mother approved So that's what I got, almost exactly what I asked for, a little different, but it's still perfect!!!!!

Re: ~*~*~*5/10 QOTD*~*~*~
I knew eventually we would be getting married, so one day I found a ring set that I loved and I emailed it to FH to use as a reference for whenever he decided to pop the question.
So I made it easy for him, he got me the same ring but with more diamonds on it. (so you know I was very very happy with it). His sister swears she picked it out but she doesn't know that I sent him a picture a long time ago.

Re: ~*~*~*5/10 QOTD*~*~*~
fun question!!! i LOVE looking at everyone's rings!!! I knew i wanted something different....i had seen everyone for a while with the same exact ring and i knew i did not want that...
FH took me ring browsing one day and I tried on a TON of rings...and they werew all pretty but none of them made me go WOW!!...until i tried on a ring with sapphires and a ring that had the diamonds around the main diamond....
I kind of left it up to him at that point...he knew what i liked....it was important to me that it was a really good quality diamond and that it was in btwn x amount of carats...(and honeslty, this was important to him too!)
so volia that is my ring story! and i love my ring!!!
here it is! still trying to figure out how to get a good picture of it!!!
I would email my FH pictures of rings that I liked. . . . but he picked out what he wanted - and I am in LOVE with my ring. This is not a good picture but here!
I gave FH some hints... I knew I wanted it to be princess cut and that I didn't want baguettes... but he went to the jewler on his own and picked out the setting, and the 3 remaining c's all on his own and came up with the perfect ring for me!!
My ring is a princess cut with pave set sidestones down the band... my favorite part is on the head there are diamonds between each of the four prongs... you can't really see it in the pictures though... and apparently pictures are too big to post here so they're in my albums!

I actually picked my ring out because I knew I want sapphires and I wanted it to be Vintage looking. So FH asked me to pick it out with him.

I LOVE everyone's rings!!!
FH picked my ring out all on his own. Everyone has been saying the best things about it and he gets so proud and happy, it's cute. All I told him was that I wanted either a round diamond or a pear diamond. He works in the diamond district so I had faith in him
It is a round center diamond with baguettes on the sides (which I love) and then two smaller rounds on the ends

Steve and I went to Tri-County look at different styles and i saw one that i loooooved. I had no clue what i wanted to so i had to try different one's on.
So he went back, and drew it and brought the drawing to the jeweler.
my ring is actually my grandmothers engagement ring. Being the only granddaughter i was always offered it and i love my grandma so much so of course i knew i'd take it. It's very special to me.
the pic does not do it justice

I knew I wanted an oval diamond, but FH picked out the stone and the setting, which I love!! He did such a great job!!
FH picked mine out by himself. We had talked about getting engaged but I never really mentioned what kind of ring I wanted but I have to say, I really love the one he picked out!!! He told me wanted to get me something simple and beautiful and he did just that! He even brought the jeweler pictures of me so she can see what i looked like and make sure it was something that fit me! It's perfect!
I picked mine out myself. Got exactly what I wanted!

I knew one day he'd ask me to marry him so I had hinted at a 3 stone ring, and that's exactly what I got... It has 'past present, future' engraved inside it and the setting to the main 3 stones is heart shaped!!!
I was not involved at all! I had no idea he was even thinking of proposing and I like it that way!!!

Re: ~*~*~*5/10 QOTD*~*~*~
FH asked me to email him styles that I liked. We went to some mall and saw a setting style that I fell in love with. I printed a picture of it from the website and Fh had the ring made.
Argghh, my pictures never post! I have a pic of the ring in my album.

Yes, FH and I had talked about it a lot before we got engaged. We looked online together so he could get an idea of what I wanted. Also, a friend of his got engaged a few months before we did and he was able to get an idea that way! However, he never confirmed what he was getting for me so it was kind of a surprise!
