...from our minimum. We invited almost 250 people with a minimum of 100. Now I KNOW the world was not waiting at the edges of their seats for our invites but for some reason I thought people would be quicker to respond. I need to chill.

I think they're slow to respond because of the holidays. With all of the cards people get this time of year, the invite may be sitting in a pile. When is your RSVP date? I wouldn't worry about it yet. I'm sure you'll get more responses after this coming weekend when people are all done with last minute shopping and family-stuff.

Eh I am not too worried. The fewer that come, the cheaper it is. Now if only I could pick and choose who I wanted there!!!!

Yup. But you guys are in WEDDING MODE!!! Ah at least I know people I LIKE will be there.
Last night I met a couple of FH's friends who are invited that I never knew before - from his football team so OF COURSE I dont know them because I do not go to his games but I digress. After going through the guest list, I realized that I will be walking down the aisle in front of 200 people. 100 people I know and almost 100 total strangers. I hope the cool people get there on time so the people I see when walking down the aisle are friendly faces. Hint hint!! The thought of being the center of attention is making me quite ill. I just hope I dont lose count when I walk around FH seven times or I'll look like a total moron! I could just hear my mom saying OY VEY!!!

When I walked around the groom, the Rabbi was giving me cues the entire time. So, no worries about that!!!!
You will recognize faces no matter how many people you know. Or you will be like me. I kept thinking that EVERYONE was my friend Marshall. I don't know why. I looked to my left and was like, 'oh, there's Marshall.' Looked to my right and said to myself, 'No, that's Marshall.' I think I even whispered to my H that everyone looked like Marshall. Now I have pictures that show me where Marshall really was and I am not sure if any of those people were really him. But at least I thought they were all familiar faces!!!! And NO, it wasn't a subliminal message that I was supposed to marry Marshall. But he is single and I'd love to set him up.

OF COURSE I DO! I should start a thread with a poll that asks: 'How many people on your guest list do you hope get LOST on the way to your wedding and just don't make it?' I bet we ALL have people we would like to leave off.

We are throwing a big surprise party for my parents anniversary the end of January - we sent out invites and they should have RSVP'd me by now - I got only 2 responses so far.
