$6,000 for video?

$6,000 for video?

FH just told me he found a videographer he likes- for $6,000. I told him absolutely not. Am I crazy or is that way too much money?

WOW, the price for my photo and video together isn't even that much! Do you get to keep the video camera too???

Thats A LOT of money!!!!!!!!!! You can easily find a good videographer wayyy less that!!

And I'm glad I'm not crazy. I was pretty sure people get video AND photography for that much. He claims he's looked at other people and they all stink. Ugh!

My video was $1500!!!! And I LOVE how creative they are! T&T Video.

My video and photographer (Patken) together was $7000! You can definitely get BOTH for much less than that!!!

For that price you should get to keep the videographer to be on call whenever you want him.

That price is very very high. If you shop around you can get photos and video for that price!

personally I think that is a little too high

we've been looking for a photographer/videographer and I've seen video for less than a grand, a grand and up to 2 grand, but 6, just seems kinda nuts. but it's your wedding and you know your budget!

WAY high!

and my newest video advice I like to share is this---I LOVE LOVE LOVE our unedited footage even more than the edited copy (that is wonderful) since it just captures what REALLY happened....for that I could have spent even less (but I am happy with the results )

start looking around more- I'm sure he'll see other work he likes for less than 6
