My grandparents 60th anniversary ( ) is comming up...
I have no idea what to get them

If you are creative at all I think a scrapbook of pictures/memories would be awesome.
If not...perhaps a gift certificate to their favorite restaurant or a weekend away someplace special?
I'd stay away from knicknacks & such.

For Christmas one year, my sister and I took all the old 8 mm films that my parents had of the family and put them into chronological order and had them transferred to VHS. Maybe you could do something like that.

what about a family portrait of all there grandchildren and have it blown up..We did it for my grandparents and we all wore Black and White and the great grandchildren wore red..The loved it

BTW, diamonds are the traditional gift and gold is the modern gift according to the guide I looked up.

my grandparents' 60th is this year too! I haven't thought about gifts yet. . .usually there is some sort of group thing that my aunt comes up with ( at least I hope so )

But the way the photographer positioned us was great!!!!!he had step stools..and benches so we were all kinda scattered...

SInce we just had the wedding we have lots of pics...SO no need to go get another one done

Red - that's such a special thing! I like all the suggestions - something else you could do is maybe get a video camera and tape relatives/friends (local at least) giving their well wishes, thoughts, and memories about the couple?
