7/7/07 brides?

7/7/07 brides?

So I am new to this board and the first thing I saw on here was the list of 07 brides!! There is like 10 girls getting married the same day as me- how exciting!! So do you girls wanna fill me in on what you've done so far? Im slacking- Ive booked the church n hall. thats it

hi date twin Welcome to the boards. i got engaged on christmas and basically have everything booked except limos. i start pre-cana next month and plan on booking the limos at the end of the summer. if u need any help with planning don'r hesitate to ask

So I am crashing. FYI royalty has 3 7/7 brides booked. keep that in mind.

Welcome and congrats!!!! Yes, we picked a popular date, so my advice to you is try not to wait on making appointments. I have heard from some vendors it is the most popular date of 2007. If you need any help or have questions, please FM me. Happy planning. It is so fun!!!

Hey! I pretty much have booked everything except the officiant. We started to look at BM dresses and are getting ready to order them. Good luck and happy planning!

definitely a popular day! It's funny bc on the list I saw 2 people getting married at places we wanted but they were booked for our day!! We started meeting with photographers and I started to look at dresses. I am overwhelmed now! I'm also attempting to finally graduate college in like a week so it kinda pushed wedding planning to the side a bit. Did you girls block off rooms already at hotels?

Congrats and welcome! I've booked our reception, florist, photographer, videographer and blocked our rooms. Just working on the DJ & officiant.

Re: blocking rooms
Ask your reception who they recommend b/c the hotel may offer you shuttle for your guests if you book a certain number of rooms. Call the hotel and ask for the sales manager. They should be able to quote you a rate over the phone. You shouldn't have to pre-pay for the rooms. The hotel will usually allow you to block off 15-20 rooms at a time and they will call you when a few are left to see if you want to block off more. FM me if you want more info.

Hey fellow lucky 7 brides! It sounds like everyone already has a lot of things booked. We already booked the hall, church, limos, flowers, dj, and photo/video. This summer I am going to focus on finding a dress, starting Pre Cana, and deciding where to go on the honeymoon. Has anyone decided where they are going yet?
