8 More Days...

...Is all I have left to get the responses of 75 delinquents!

I thought the last two weeks were supposed to open up the floodgates with cards? Today is the second day this week that we haven't gotten ANYTHING back. 1 card Monday, nothing Tuesday, 2 yesterday, nothing today...ROAR.

I don't even care at this point. I just really can't wrap my head around it...I doubt that 25-30 invitations just ALL got lost in the mail and didn't come back to me, right?

Oh my, you should start calling them from now because then at the end your going to be stuck asking them if they are coming.

And it's like ALL FMIL's family.

My side is accounted for. I'm waiting for 3 cards back from my dad's cousins...but we have verbal confirmation that 3/6 invited are coming. And I'm waiting for 5 of my coworkers (10 people) to respond, but since I just gave them their invitations last Wednesday I really can't get on them till after the deadline.

FMIL's family has no excuse. Really pissing me off. 10 people in FL, 10 people upstate, 5 in NC, 2 in SC, etc. etc. etc. For real? You're clearly NOT coming, so why torture me? And 14 'close' family on LI, 4 in Brooklyn...for real people!

Annoying. I feel like it's 'second wedding' syndrome flaring up again, and we're the chopped liver. Bah.
