I called a florist today for a simple free-standing chuppa for my wedding. I told them that I wanted something very simple with a few flowers. They quoted me $800!!!
If you ladies don't mind sharing, how much did you pay for your chuppa?

I paid $650 for the chuppah, and then additional for aisle stands. I booked my florist about two years ago though, so I would expect prices to have changed...

we are interfaith, however, we are having a chuppa. My fiance is building one for us and I am getting flowers from Michael to decorate.

$800 sounds like a good price....everyone I know paid at least $1000-2000. I cant belief what the florist is going to cost me

WOW! Had no clue they cost so much for four poles, some fabric and some flowers (it's only a rental, the florist certainly can reuse the structure and the fabric). It is what it is. Does anyone feel like $$$ is just being ****ed away left and right?
My fiance wanted a small destination wedding. I wanted a real wedding. I'm starting to think he was right.
