9/21/02 Brides and Hotels

I just met with the Wyndham Windwatch in Hauppauge, and would love to block rooms there for my guests, but they require a guarantee of 10 rooms, which makes me a little nervous. We probably will have 10 rooms, but I would hate to pay for empty rooms. I`m not sure if it can be done, but is there anyone in a similar situation who would be interested in working together to block rooms for that weekend? Thanks -Jen

I used the marriott in islandia... it's not far from wind watch and they didn't make you pay for empty rooms...we also blocked off rooms at the new holiday inn express in hauppauge to give our guests a less expensive alternative...both hotels were very nice.
