You look beautiful! I love the flowers. I'm so glad I saw the picture of the FG's. I am also having two, about the same age as yours. It looks like you sent them down the isle together. Did they throw rose petals or just walk down holding hands? Congrats and Good Luck

We sent them down holding hands. the church wasn't cool with petals, and I heard that it may distract them....so they just walked together with flowers in the basket.

they did great!
they are 3 and 5

Jeanene.

I wore a cathedral and a blusher attachment....all tulle. I got it at Bridal Reflections where I bought my dress. I took all my pics with it on...a little tough b/c it is long...and then took everything off for the reception.

My aunt made the dresses..aren't they great?? she put petals in the bottom....its a copy of US Angels...you can see them on the knot...

Did you get married with Fr. Sean??? I'm getting married at CTK in 2004 and he will be performing my ceremony. We've met with him once and he was so nice. How was he's during your ceremony. Did he keep things 'light' and fun or go deep into the spiritual stuff?

that is soooo funny.

Its was Father Sean. He actually did my grandfathers funeral and was so nice...so we asked him to do the wedding. He was great. we didn't have a mass....just a ceremony...short and sweet. so many people said it was a great ceremony...thats what we wanted. sometimes people sigh about a catholic wedding. Don't worry about him.

We hired Heartsrings for the ceremony and had the organ play 'here comes the bride' and the singer sang Ave Maria.

Everything was wonderful.

That's so cool about Fr. Sean. We are having just a ceremony also (time is REALLY tight between church and reception) and I was worried that he would frown upon that but he was just like ...'No prob..and If you don't want to do a receiving line to save more time, I'll just make a little speech on how you'll see your guests at the reception>' i almost died. I guess its going back to my catholic school days...fear the priest and all that but he was really down to earth.
I'm glad you had a wonderful wedding.

Amy & Michelle - CTK is my parents church (mine too when I was growing up - but we had our wedding at St. Josephs in Kings Park).

Where do you guys live - did you graduate from Commack HS?
