A 2010er got me thinking...

Who's thinking they're seeing FH before the ceremony? Besides me...

Not me... one of the few things i want to be traditional about.

but...then again, the whole reveal thing is still in the to be considered category

I am. FH thought no we can't do that because traditionally you don't. until I was like when do you expect to take pictures then? that's when he realized unlike other weddings that might take place in a church with 2 hours after wards to take pictures we had no time since we are doing everything at the RH.

plus most places I have been to tell me how much more calm people get seeing each other before the ceremony. I will probably be having a breakdown and he's one of the only people that calm me down lol. not to mention I really want pictures at Vanderbilt museum and I sort of need to see him first to do that.

we are going to do that special seeing each other for the first time picture shot thing. it's not like we are just going to jump into a limo and be like hey there you are! or something like that lol.

I think nowadays people see each other before. you can get 100s of better pictures too. I think it's a really smart thing to do.

I didn't want to, and I still don't but I think it's our only option for pictures. We really don't want to miss our CH and since we are getting married at the RH there won't be a lot of time between the ceremony and the CH.

I think that I would totally be ok with doing the reveal beforehand... except there is literally no time! We're doing a day wedding, and we're having the ceremony at a church, so if we tried to do pics before hand it would be soooo early!

I'm hoping we get the shots we want, and then move on, so we maybe can even eat some of the CH goodies...

FH doesn't see you until that moment you walk down the aisle. I can't wait to see his face

*We have a 2 hour gap between the end of ceremony & CH so our photographer said thats plenty of time for pics

It'll help that we have a 90 min CH! Think of those extra 30 mins as bonus time to eat food from the CH

Ughhh b/c the church is in Greenport like 30 or so minutes away, the latest we were allowed to start the CH is 1130, and I didn't want to start the ceremony so early, so we traded a half hour of the CH for a chocolate fountain at the end... i'm still kinda regretting the decision, not sure if we can see if we can trade back... any thoughts?

We are def seeing each other before.....we really want to enjoy our cocktail hour so we're gonna have to do pics before! I love the idea of him seeing you for the first time as you walk down the aisle, but I've come to terms with it. Food is way too important too us!

FH and I are in negotiations about this. My FHs first response was 'that is illegal.' but I think that he is starting to see why we should do the reveal to avoid missing the CH.

I've seen some beautiful, make you wanna cry, reveal pics. I think no matter when FH sees me, he's going to melt. That's why we're doing the reveal. I really want to enjoy CH. Plus, my wedding's at night.

We are not gonna see each other; we want it to be a complete surprise when the ceremony starts to see one another!!! But I def thought about it as far as pics are concerned but decided the people can wait just a little so we can have our moment ;)
