Did your florist break everything out for you? I have no idea how much those trees would cost, but maybe that is making the quote so high?

I think $170 seems high for the glass ones w/ the flowers. Our high cp is $100 and it has hydrangea, roses, orchids and peonies.

Sorry I don't know much about the cost of the trees, but it can't hurt to shop around and get a few more quotes.

They are charging me $170 for the glass vases, and $180 for the trees

I don't know what's 'average' for the trees, but for the glass ones - definitely overpriced. Shouldn't be more than $120 ea.

I asked about trees at a bridal expo...that could definately be the cause of the high price. Also, bear in mind that orchids are expensive.

I'm working with Pedestals too, with high centerpieces with the floating orchid. I'm paying $130/CP I think.

Im paying $1800 for:

8 oblong centerpieces
our dais
2 tall background arrangements
2 church baskets
10 pew tulle bows with flowers
my bo-k
1 throw bo-k
5 BM bo-ks
FG head wreath
2 gradma crosages
1 mom crosage
8 bouts
rose petals for the FG basket and cones

Flowers using: white and green hydrangea, white and green dendrobium orchids, light pink and peach sweetheart and spray roses, white mini calla lillies (for my bo-k), white and green orchids for mom and gradmas crosages.

You are paying for a lot of things you really don't need like bathroom arrangement, petals around hall, etc.

It's a littl high, but considering the trees and the types of flowers you're using, orchids and hydrangeas, which can be a little pricey, sounds right.
