I was wondering if anyone was considering going topless on their HM. We are going to Aruba and I heard there are alot of Europeans that don't think twice about going topless on the beach. I am considering taking on the attitude of 'when in Rome...'
What do you gals think?
ETA: I think I worded this wrong. I was polling to see if you girls are planning to go topless not if I should...

I've done it here in the states... twice. Most of my family lives in Europe so it's not a big deal. Don't know how FH would like it. We're really too pale skinned to be laying out anyway.

I clearly didn't explore the more adventurous parts of Aruba. Although I did notice a lot more thong bikinis, I didn't notice any topless sunbathers. That being said, if you're comfortable with it and you want to, go for it.
Me either, I don't think I saw one person topless there at all.
I think FH would LOVE for me to go topless...having said that, I wouldn't ever do that....just too shy. Diamondgirlie--just remember we'll see you (maybe a lot of you) your last 2 days on the Island!

Our resort for our honeymoon is right in front of the Clothing Optional Beach in St. Martin, but I do not think I will be joining them. Unless I lose all the weight I want to and my body looks slammin', then maybe I will think about it!!

I semi did it when we went to the DR. A lot of Europeans were topless and I had never done that. So in the water I went topless. A man swimming at least 5 yard away suddenly appeared by my side. Very obviously to get a better look. We found it amusing. Actually I think FI took it as a compliment. I say go for it.

The only time I did it was on our last vacation when we went on a cruise. We were out at sea and had a balcony. Luckily it was covered and the cabins on either side of us had a wall. When I heard our neighbors coming out on their balcony, I dashed inside...so it lasted about an hour.

you know - i went to aruba about 2 years ago and i really thought that i was going to se alot of people who went topless - we only saw 1. i was really surprised. and no topless isn't for me

HA .. Fh and I have been discussing this because I have been told that EDR has a european crowd and everyone goes topless... I keep saying I won't.. knowing secretly that I really want to.. So fh was talking to my dad about the topless girls and my dad was joking that he better bring home pics for him, Then my mom goes, 'tricia, You wouldn't go topless would you'.. and my dad goes 'tricia, I am sure she would'....
