A Change Of Plans

Yeah so my wedding is in 3 weeks... well 2 weeks and 6 days.

I had planned on everything being pink, ivory and champagne.

My best friend went for her first fitting of the BM dress that SHE picked out. I never loved the dress - but she wanted it and she had to wear it - so whatever. Anyhow - she doesn't love the dress anymore. And the seamstress told her that the one thing she DID love about the dress - the straps in the back - would have to be changed for her to fit the dress. So she doesn't want the dress.

She picked a new one. The dress is pretty and it looks wonderful on her.

It isn't pink. Or Ivory. Or Champagne.

It's honeydew. Yep. The dress is green.

So I had to call the favor girl, the florist and the woman who is doing my programs and tell them that we are now incorporating green into the scheme.

I had my opportunity to go Bridezilla and I missed it. I suddenly realized that I don't really give a sh*t what colors we use or if everything matches.

I am getting married in less than a month. That's so cool.

omg i would have freaked out on her. you deserve the least-bridezilla-ever award!!!!!!!!

lol...good for you, now you'll have more color and it will look even prettier!!!

Wow, you are so calm about it. Im sure it will all look beautiful though. My colors are ivory, champagne, pink and GREEN!!!
Im diring to see a pic of the new dress though.

I'm still just trying to fathom the idea of a BM going ahead and choosing her own color for her dress without the bride's consent... a color that isn't even part of the bride's color scheme..... and less than a month away from the wedding..... Wow.... Just wow!.... You have to have some pair of balls to do that lol

Those colors are great together and will look very beautiful... lucky for you she didn't pick out some hideous putrid color or a color that doesn't go with your color scheme lol
