FH is NYPD and worked the convention yesterday. SOme lady came up to him and asked 'What parade is this?'

I'll give this person the benefit of the doubt and assume she was a tourist who JUST got off the plane and hasn't glanced at the TV or a newspaper or turned on the radio! Otherwise, there is no good excuse for such ignorance!!

well, it did look an awful lot like a parade yesterday. if i hadn't known about the convention i might have made the same mistake....
