A couple mini checks!

FH and I are both off today. So we dropped off our second payment to JayLim & booked our engagement photos for June 4th! We haven't decided where to do them yet. I really don't want gardens or a park because our wedding photos will be like that. I really want something fun, different, and funky. Any Ideas?

We also bought some flip flops for our flip flop baskets at Old Navy. They were 2 pairs for $5 I had $20 in Old Navy rewards plus a $15 coupon. I love bargains! I am going to buy them slowly as I get coupons so they don't hit the pocket as hard!

I think I saw pictures from someone on here that did their engagement pictures at Coney Island...they came out really cool!

I saw an engagement shoot recently that someone I know did. They did it at a bar in the city, that was very rustic and cool looking. It looked pretty cool.

we're planning on going out east and doing montauk and all the places we had our first date which includes this stone statue store that has a raptor.


I wish that didn't sound as crazy as it was but... it was the best first date ever.

Thats exactly why I don't want beachy pictures, b/c thats what our wedding pics will be like. I was thinking of maybe going to a carnival this summer and having them taken...but I think we're leaning more towards the fall (not that I wanna wait that long) and go apple/pumpkin picking!

MrsMango a friend of mine waited until Old Navy had their annual dollar flip flop sale! A few of us went in and picked up about 5 pairs each (the max per person i think) and she saved a ton of money, figured i would share
