Not trying to scare you but I have always heard people say you get no sleep, seeing it and hearing the cries makes me wonder will I be able to deal

The first couple of weeks were like that for me, but without a toddler too. Now he sleeps 6 hours straight, most of the time.

No sugar-coating this one is necessary, because that was VERY realistic. and it kinda made me feel that overwhelming feeling again, because my 2 will be exactly those ages 17m and newborn

It is very true, and if you're a mom to a baby like Lyla, even after 5 months, you'll be sleep deprived!
But, hopefully you will have a baby who sleeps a lot and you will only need to get through the first few weeks with sleepless nights (sitting up while nursing a lot and dozing off is what I remember about the first 2 weeks). The main thing is to forget everything else (housework) and just focus on you and the baby and resting when you can.

Hi, my name is Debbie and I was sleep deprived for the first 2 weeks of my daughter's life!!
Actually, I still think I'm sleep deprived!
But like Anna said, I wouldn't trade it in for the world!!!
