After a trying day, I will relax with a drink. It will help calm me down enough to get to sleep.

FH will to unwind if he's had a bad day, but me pretty much never, not even socially these days.

I very RARELY drink to the point of a slight buzz M-TH.... maybe I'll have a glass of wine one day during the week. I would say I drink M-TH maybe twice a month at most.

FH is another story. During the month of July he having a beer or two a day everyday Monday - Friday for a couple of weeks... in his case it was to unwind and to fill him up because he was dieting.... he hasn't been drinking like that anymore lately though....I think it was a phase....

I go to happy hour every once in a while so that's when I drink during the week. That and every every once in a while I'll come home and decide I would like a beer. I get all excited and I wind up taking 2 sips and forgetting about it. I like to think I'm a bigger lush than I am

I don't drink during the week. Every once in a while on the weekends we get a few drinks in us. Unless we go out to eat dinner and have a few bottles of wine. I love wine!

We don't drink at home and I used to go out on weeknights sometimes but not anymore (since 1999 or so I guess). DH went out a few times a week before we met but not late and didn't go overboard. Fri nights are his nights out after work. And sometimes he goes out to watch a game on weekends and drinks w/ buddies afterwards but we haven't gone out at night drinking on weekends in ages.
ETA: My mom drank alot at home and I guess that's why I don't. To me I equate drinking with socializing, not drinking to relax. I think DH feels the same way. He had 1 or 2 beers at home a few times but that was a real rare occasion.

I dont drink during the week but look out on the weekends we still like to go out, guess we are weekend alcoholics ?

if i've had a really bad day i'll have a glass of wine when i get home, not enough for a real buzz, but just to take the edge off.
other than that i rarely drink, only if we're out or at a party, and even then i just drink enough for a little buzz.

i don't drink just to drink, i just really like the taste of red wine and good beer.
