A few more pumping questions...

Ok... I'm sorry about asking all these questions about pumping, but I keep reading different answers...

If you're putting milk in the fridge right from pumping, how long is it good for?

Can you put milk in the freezer after keeping it in the fridge?

When taking milk out of the freezer and thawing it out in the fridge, how long is that good for?

How long is it good in the freezer for?

Thank you so much!!!

Ok, milk is good in the fridge (I keep it all the way in the back) from 5-7 days...I have put fridge milk in the freezer and it was usually no more than 2 days old.

In the freezer it can last up to six months! or 3 to 6 months depending on how cold your freezer is.

As far a thawing out the freezing milk, just put the milk in a cup with some tempid water and it should thaw out, just remember to shake it up because the fat separates from the milk.

HTH!
