A few pictures from my DH's triathlon

Just felt like posting these, if anyone's interested!
Here are a few pictures that my friend took at my hubby's triathlon last weekend. It was a 1 mile swim, 25 mile bike and 6.2 mile run. He finished in under 3 hours... hooray!

You can see me zipping up his wetsuit in the first picture.

Thanks everyone! I'm proud of him!

He finished in the bottom half... but he was totally out of his league this time because this triathlon was a qualifying race for the Alcatraz triathlon, which is really popular and only the best people get to do it. So the best people flocked to this one to compete for a spot (the top 3 finishers in each age group got a ticket). Therefore he didn't place so well, but he finished! He did the swim in 29 minutes, which is great because the person who finished first took 22 minutes. Not bad, eh?!

Yabbobay... GOOD LUCK with yours!! Which one are you doing? Jones Beach?

ETA: LMAO at Rachel!!! Hey Rach!!! He doesn't usually look too pretty during triathlons, but thanks!!!

didn't lisat's DH Al do the alcatraz??

triathalons tend to be more competitive since #s are usually limited and most of the people that sign up are pretty competitive

I am actually doing the tri in san diego...but I have done in montauk, oyster bay and cape cod

such beautiful places - makes it nice to do
