A few thank you e party questions

I feel so new at everything lol..a few questions I want to ask to make sure I am planning on doing the right thing.

1. Do I thank people for coming or for bringing a gift or both if they did both.

2. If someone came and brought a guest and signed both names to card and present, do I write it out to both people and send one thank you or do I send one thank you to each person? If Im sending one thank you to both, who do I address the envelope to (one or both)?

3. Anyone send pictures in the thank yous?

4. How fast should I send them out?

1.I had cards made through Vistaprint....they said

'Thank you for your generous gift & sharing in our celebration'

I sent that to people who came & to people who just sent a gift that didnt come!

2. I would say however you mailed the invitation. I sent the thank you to the person & their guest & addressed it to both of them.

3. I didnt send pics in my thank yous. I gave out my save the dates at the party so they already had a pic of our beautiful faces

4. Call me crazy but my thank yous were in the mail the next day. I did them the night of the party. FH told me he never met anyone like me! lol

I do have a hectic schedule so I just wanted to get them out of the way. I would say within 2 weeks is good.

We sent thank you's to everyone.. those who came and did not bring a gift...those the came and did give a gift and those who did not come but gave a gift.

I sent 1 thank you and wrote the card out to both and addressed it to both.

3. Anyone send pictures in the thank yous?

I wanted too but it worked out to be a lil too expensive.

4. How fast should I send them out?

I sent them out about a week after the party.

but the good kind! We didn't have an e-party, but some friends and family have given us gifts to celebrate so I went to Papyrus and bought all diff kinds of thank you cards, and my girls from home bought me cards with my initials on them for use before my name changes, haha.
I just really like sending hand-written stuff.
