Do you think that if you aren't going to put up Christmas lights good, then you should even put them up??
I definitly feel this way, I am so sick of people putting up[ one strand of lights haphazardly, and thinking ther house looks good. Why bother!!

I selected multi since our tree came with white lights and DH insisted on getting red chasers.
Shelzp - I agree. Houses look awful when the owners only go half way with the lighsts.

We have multi lights! It is a childhood thing; we always had different colors and I was mesmerized! Each year I mean to do something different but don't!

Me too, I hate when I see windows with like one strand of pathetically crooked looking lights flapping back and forth.

I forgot to say that we have multi. Multi just ups the coziness factor in the house 300%.
I didn't choose anything...b/c I don't put up a tree...but growing up we put up gold lights - with gold garland and gold ornaments...and I think it looked very elegant and beautiful...

My tree is decorated in only silver and white, so white lights 'go' with my decor.

Uh Oh - That's probably me. When we even bother with window lights.
We use mostly only white though. When I was little, we had multi but then my mom decided to go to white and I like that better just cause our ornaments are so colorful and random, I don't want them to have to compete with the lights. Every year I tell DH I want to do a color themed tree- my friend used to have just mauves, ivorys and sort of a victorian theme and it looked so pretty. But DH says'What about all our ornaments though?' I basically agree with him - but I just like to drive him nuts!!

I am a 'white light' only type of person...I use burgundy velvet bows and gold ornaments/mini garlands (with a few sentimental ornaments thrown in).

I chose 'other' because the last few years I've been doing a color theme with my tree and this year I'm doing pink...but then I thought about it and realized that I really hate when I see pink lights so I'll do white lights and stick with pink ornaments.
