I am not familiar with the 'Mad Diary' book mentioned above, but another book that I found highly amusing during my engagement period was called 'Otherwise Engaged'. I don't remember the author offhand, but it too is a humorous and quick read...One of the silliest anecdotes from the book is when the bride-to-be has these revelations about her FH, and everytime he does something even slightly annoying to her, she hears a Chinese gong and sees the words, 'FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE' in her mind. Totally hysterical!
