A great book

A great book

I just read an amazing book on the plane yesterday and thought I would share it! It is called Suzann's Diary for Nicholas....it had me crying like a child on the plane and taking a long look at my life. Its not a huge book and you will probably be able to read it in one sitting (its only about 200 pages)

i read it, too. very simple, yet very enjoyable. definitely a good read for when you want to relax.

edited to say: and for when you want to shed a tear (or two!).

I just found Jodi Piccoult - I've read 4 of her books and loved every one

I just finished another one - and I've drawn a blank - its about a DA whose son was abused......

does anyone know the name of it?

I just finished 'Bee Season' by Myla Goldberg. It was wonderful. I am now reading 'A Girl named Zippy' by Haven Kimmel This one is so funny. Another book I would recommend.

Jodi Picoult went to my high school. I think she graduated the same year as my brother. I saw an article about her in newday a few years back...She grew up in Nesconset.

I loved The Pact too. I read it several years ago. I saw just the other day that it's been made into a Lifetime movie due out November 4. Here's a link to some info about it.

The Pact was amazing. After I finished it I emailed all of my friends to tell them to read it. It's a definite 'must-read!' I can't wait to read her other books.

Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas was also very good. I think I finished it in one day!

What is 'The Pact' all about. I didn't much care for Suzannes Diary even though I always enjoy James Patterson's books. Is the Pact like Suzanne's Diary?
