A great make your self invite

http://www.mjplas.com/wedding/invites/

I thought I would share with you all a truly beautiful and unique invite that a bride on WeddingChannel.com made. These are not super inexpensive do-it-yourslef invites, and they take A LOT of time, but they are really beautiful.
If you go to her site she has links to where you can purchase everything you need to do them.
Also to print on the vellum you need an LASER, not inkjet printer. Just something to keep in mind. The supplies come in tons of colors and styles too.
I have read that you need to start these early, do not wait until the last minute. There is a lot of cutting and pasting and printing. So if you have the time, patience and help of a friend or two, you might want to do these.

This is beautiful! I am going to Marie's Paperie on Tuesday night. They are holding a wedding event on how to make invites, programs, cut costs on albums... Plus its FREE! I hope I get more creative ideas from there. If anyone is interested go to the website and its under events.

You mean Katie's Paperie? SonicStef and I will be there too. BUT Katie's is very expensive. Just get the ideas from her, and the shop elsewhere for your paper stuff.
Let's try to meet up there.

Kate's Paperie is what I meant!
I thought her paper wasn't so bad on the internet. Is it more pricey at the store? I was hoping it wasn't It doesn't hurt to go and get ideas. I will be bringing along another liweddings member as well.
See ya there!

I have heard that Katie's is expensive but I will see for myself on Tuesday. I am going for program and menu ideas.
Hi Erica- this girl actually started the business Remote Assistance after so many brides on WC asked her for help with making the invites. Pretty Cool!
