A groom's perspective on your online cult you have
This is the groom to be
My fiance spends a lot of her time on this site. Trying to get ideas and to share her thoughts about our upcoming wedding. As I do fully support women actually thinking about their men, I have got say that you women are bordering on insanity. How many lonely nights has your fiancee had to go to bed alone because you have to see the latest post? How many dishes stay dirty in the sink because you have to get 1000 posts for a T shirt? I'm tired of hearing about who is getting seat cushions and who is getting a chocalate fountain. I dont care!!!! All I am worried about, as are many of your own fiances is How much is this gonna cost? A lot of married men I talk to say the sex drops off after marraige. I have come to learn that this is false. This may have been true before the internet but now thanks too LI weddings myself and many other guys go to bed 'Blue' because of this site.
Thanks alot Ron & Liz

Ladies, this is Lisa now, I had nothing to do with FH posts. He is being a baby because he feels he isn't getting the attention he use to before I joined LIW.
Hope noone was offended, he was playing around without me knowing.

Hey Lisa, I'm not mad. But I did find it kinda funny. Do you know how many lonely nights I spent in bed because my FH was playing VIDEO games!!!! On his days off he sleeps ALL day and then is up all night playing loudy stupid games. I never liked video games and I'm sure I'm not the only bride here who is on the computer while her FH is playing with the Xbox, PS1, PS2, etc.... As far as I'm concern I'll give up LIW's when I see the Xbox fly! Out the window!

No offense taken-but tell your FH he can do the dishes, women are not the only ones who can do house work. In fact, I think since you are planning the wedding he can do the house work-it's about equal work!

TO LISA'S FH: If she gets 5000 post she gets an liw thong. Or at least thats what I've heard. You gotta love a thong!!

I read him the post and he said - really seriously - you know, he's right!
Then he told me I put more energy into this site than into our relationship!

i agree! i was amazed when he had enough guts to post that on a website dominated by women! tell him to wash the dishes cause you're busy in LIW!
PS - my FH agrees with your FH! But i replied right back with 'what do you care if I'm on the computer? its baseball season!!!!!'

Re: A groom's perspective on your online cult you have
Well there is always the case whenever a wedding comes into play and this happened LONG before LIW's, when a woman focuses too much on the wedding and not enough on the relationship. BUT this is more than a wedding site. How many us have friends and family who just wish we would stop talking about it. My FH doesn't even wanna hear about favors, flowers, the cake, zip! Here is a place we can talk, get ideas and be excited. We can be brides here!!! Now yes there are extremes, I had the wedding bug for a while, (okay a yr) but it pasted. Honestly it takes time but this is exciting for us. This is a day that makes us feel like Queens!!! And guys, it takes two to make a fight. There are ways to blances wedding time and personal time with loved ones. But it takes two to make this work. Oh and when anyone here figures out to master video game time and personal time, drop me a line.
