I just received in the mail that Christy ann is not going to be doing my makeup because of a medical related issue.
I already booked with her because she was the one doing my makeup...
Here's the problem...
I have a pay another trial fee to see one of her senior makeup artists...
this is where I am p-o'ed because I just put down a deposit months ago, and now being that I am paying off things for the wedding everyone knows how much every penny counts and now I have to pay another fee for another artist who may, or may not do a good job on my makeup...
Am I overreacting.. please give me thoughts, comments, information on what I should do .. because I dont think this is right.

They shouldn't charge you again to have a trial with another one of her makeup artists. It's not your fault she needs to cancel. Ask them if they will waive the fee.

Re: A letter regarding my Makeup Artist..
You either get your deposit back or give you a trial on the house
You are not breaking your contract so you should not lay out any more money at all

They sent you a letter in the mail?! I would think they should at least call the brides to tell them so you could ask questions! I would definitely call there and see what is going on. And you should NOT have to pay for another trial. You already did that!

Re: A letter regarding my Makeup Artist..
I would try to get the free trial first. If you don't liek the new person you should still get your money back because you have to pay for trials with others!
