Do your RSPV cards have different dates for the A List vs. the B List?
I was thinking of getting mostly A List dates (6 weeks prior to the wedding) and a few B List RSVP Cards (due 3-4 weeks before the wedding) so the B List invites don't seem so odd when they get send out 2 days before the RSVPs are due.
Do people do this?
Is this my 3 glasses of wine talking?

What you are saying makes sense and i didnt think about that. i already got my invites and the few extras for the Blist people but i didnt change the date. i guess i will have to make something good up

I have this, but, I am not changing the RSVP date... I will just send out the A lists a few weeks earlier than normal, then hopefully get no's early enough to send out the other ones...
worse comes to worst, will send out and then call and say that it got lost in the mail and was returned to me...

also, i actually have a, b, and c lists... a + b i am definitely sending invites, but only A get save the dates because the B list ppl can change... C are ppl i can tell pretty much 3 weeks before and they are local but they don't absolutely need an invite..

this is how I am doing it.
~RSVP 4/23/11 for all invites.
~Mailing A list first week of March.
~Based on how many No's I get I will start mailing B listers last week of March/1st week of April.
