I know we had a thread like this awhile back but we have so many new girls. So I think it would be fun to tell a little about ourselves.
I'm Colleen. I'm 23. I work on a per diem basis as a Sub. Teacher for children with special needs, and work part time for a recreation department. I'm going to school full time for my Masters in Special Ed. All the while, I've been searching for a full time job for the fall
I'm so addicted to weddings, wedding planning, and LIW. I'm on here so much cuz I can't afford to do anything else. I don't even know how I have the time between school and work.

I'm Rachel, i am 23 years old and work as a teacher in Brooklyn. my finance is 25 and is right now in Georgia for training (10 weeks to go) as a border protection officer. He is coming home to visit for labor day. I miss him so much. I cant wait for him to come home for good.

FH and are re both 20 yrs old ... yeah yeah yeah i know thats young ..lol but i love it im a student and FH owns a clothing store ... im from bk and hes originally from Israel ... havent decided if i wanted a Destination wedding or not but leaning towards it

Hey ladies, my name is Dana, I'm 23 and FH is 25, we'll be 25 and 27 when we're married in 2010! I am a 2nd year law student and work part time at the District Attorney's Office... My 'other half' is a high school teacher in Queens. We have an apartment in Queens, and I'm originally from Oceanside. We JUST booked our hall and are sooo excited, we'll be getting married at Land's End and we couldn't love the place more!! Thanks to all the ladies who have posted info about the halls and to the newlyweds who posted reviews, it has helped so much so far!

Im Keri! FH is Michael and we are 25 and 27. I am from Massapequa and he is from East Meadow. I work in the disastrous music industry but i love it and couldn't imagine doing anything else. FH is an electrician. Pretty much all i think about is wedding planning and although it's hard to save up for a 'Long Island Wedding' I'm glad I have 2 years to do so and figure things out!

I'm Traci. My FH is Eric and we have been together for 3 1/2 years. I was living in California for about 5 years and met him a few months after I moved back. It was perfect timing b/c I was totally regretting the move back to NY. We just bought our first house and live together with his two kids...son (8) and daughter (5). I am a public relations manager at Motorola and Eric works in construction.

I'm Kathryn, i'm 24 (almost 25!) years old. FH is Steve and he's 24 also, he's an insane red head that drives me up a wall lol. We've been living together almost 2 years. I bought a house last year that we moved into and the bills are killing us! Along with wedding planning lol. But that's still fun! I'm originally from Northport and now live in Kings Park (pretty much 1 town over) and Steve is from New Hampshire. We met while he was going to Hofstra. I'm a 3rd grade special ed teacher in Brooklyn and Steve works as a credit manager for Wells Fargo.

Hi, I'm Nicole AND FH is Adam I am 24 and he is 25. We met in highschool and have been dating 7.5 years. I am from Huntington and still live there with my parents (saving for thehouse one day) I am a visual Merchandiser for a large retailer and FH is a Pilot for a commercial airline.

Hi, i'm Kim, i'm 25 (for a few more weeks) and FH is 27....originally we're from shirley (me) and coram (him)...i'm a records administrator at a nuclear facility (until my contract runs out in two weeks ) and he's back in school full time to become a paralegal. We met about 10 years ago in high school and dated here and there before finally getting together for good about 2 years ago. He was unfortunately very anti-ny, so i moved on down to nc last year to live with him, and though it was a great decision for us, i've been missing the fam & friends like whoa ever since...i'm currently working on devising a 'how can i move everyone else that i love down here' plan...it's progressing very slowly.
This site has been beyond helpful to me so far, and i've only been engaged about 3 months! I was pretty much the last girl anyone would've thought would get married (let alone be the first of all her girlfriends), so it's been kind of a figure it out as you go type of thing...everyone here's been so great so far, you guys are awesome!
oh yeah, and i can't seem to stop signing in all day every day...i might be slightly obsessed

i'm jenny 25, fh is 28 and we're thinking of getting married in the spring of 2010. we both met each other in a sorority frat gathering in college and the rest is history!
i actually live in brooklyn and work in the city, he lives in dix hills and commutes to wall street, but we'll be moving in together this month, so thats pretty exciting too on top of everything.

Hi Im Christina/Chris Im 23 (atleast for a few more hours) and FH (Dan) is 27. I live in Middle Village Queens and FH is in Williamsburg Brooklyn. We met each other at St. Joseph's College while in the drama program. I am currently getting my masters in Speech Pathology (6 months till graduation YAY) and FH is a high school chemistry teacher. We dont live together, which kinda stinks I am doing an internship at a public school and work part-time for SCORE! educational center.

Oh wow! We are all so close! Commack, Huntington, and Kings Park! I know both real well. Most of my friends were from Commack when I was in high school and I grew up in Northport (Huntington's neighbor lol).
My name is Stacey, I'm 27 years old, living in Westhampton with my FH Keenan. We are both retail managers for clothing companies. Our favorite things to do in the summer is go to the beach and we LOVE cooking up some delicious crabs and lobster from our favorite seafood market! We met about 10 years ago when I was in college working part time at the Gap. We've been living together for about 3 years and dating for 5 years. We are planning for an informal reception in winter 2010.

My name is Kelley and I am 24 (25 in like a month!!). FH is Steve and is 25. We have been together over 5 1/2 years so it will be 7 years by the time we get married. We both went to Penn State for undergrad which is where we met. We currently live together in Manhattan and love it!! I am currently working in Human Resources, but I just finished my Masters Degree so I am looking for a new job not in HR, but not having much luck thanks to this wonderful economy!
