A little advice...

A little advice...

About our e-rings. This is my tramatizing story that happened on Saturday while I was having my hair colored. I wear my ring everywhere; work, gym, bed, dinner, city etc. And I'm always looking at it b.c I love it. Well, Saturday I was having such a tight schedule of a day ( My b-day party was that night), that the only time I had to even look at my ring was when I was in the salon chair. Well would you know that a bagget fell out!!!!!!!!!!! I almost VOMITED. So here's me with hair color in my hair looking for this little diamond, and dreading the phone call that had to be made to my FH. I cried so bad on the phone. Needless to say the stupid jeweler put the stone incorrectly in the setting, and is fixing it for free, but I wanted to warn you guys to have your settings checked like every other month. I was so grateful it wasn't the big stone, and for the fact that FH has a replica (cz with white gold) of my e-ring that was made for vacations (don't ask). Just a little warning from someone who lived it and now has an ulcer b.c of it.

Its a good thing the jewler admitted he messed up the setting and is now replacing the stone for free...
I dont know what I would do if I noticed a stone missing in my ring

Wow that stinks, they say you should always have your setting checked minimum of every 6 months to check for loose stones etc...

Question, can you bring it to any jeweler to check the setting and clean it, any idea what they will charge you?

A friend of mine brings hers to a jeweler by her job, I think they charge her like $10-$15 but whatever the cost its well worth avoiding the agony.
