a little annoyed

i mentioned before that my company will be hosting a 'fun day' where we compete in different events like those on Minute To Win It.

We have a team of employees setting it all up. One of the games that they suggested we do is the one where you pull tissues out of a box one at a time and see how fast you can empty the box. There are also a few diff events that involve unrolling an entire toilet paper roll.

This pisses me off to no end. I'm not the most eco-friendly person ever but i try not to completely waste things if it's not necessary!

anyway, there was a meeting just now for the setting up committee and the the team captains (i wasn't there cause i'm not either). My team's captain told the committee that it's very wasteful and we'd like to see if we can do diff events instead .... the committee's response was 'we're one of the most wasteful companies - why does it matter if we waste a box of tissues'



i want to punch that girl right about now. such an idiotic comment!!!

It's exactly that kind of thinking that's the problem. People are so stupid.

Wow Thats really just crazy!! Why waste things like that?!.. there are people out there that would give anything to have toilet paper or tissues
