It may be all in my mind, but I go to the Church today & they are working on the roof & the church looks like a construction site. Yuck. THey say they will not be there Saturday but part of the top of the roof facade was chipped so you can see the wood underneath & while not a life or death thing It is not the look I wanted in the church pictures.
So on top of that I had my dress fitting, which I went to by myself (GIRLS don't go by yourself, whenever possible because the people there will always say you look great in something even when you know something is off) So I try on my dress & I still like it, but something is off, I don't know It doesn't feel right. it may be too tight on the chest but still a little loose on the waist. But of course they probably think I am nuts & said it looked great & scheduled me to pick it up. But I end up calling them afterwards & telling them I need to try it on one more time before pickup. I am not wrong to want to feel comfortable right. Especially since the alterations are not cheap anyway?

Awww don't worry about the church. The photographer will know what angles will look best. Maybe just mention the construction to the photog. As for the dress, definitely go until you are comfortable and definitely bring someone with you. You're right about them always saying that it looks great and you're right about alterations costing so much! It will all work out!

I always have the WORST seamstress experiences! It's like they do not care how you feel. You tell them it's too loose, they say no it's not. You say it's too tight, they say no it's not!
You are paying them for a goddamn service - they should listen to you!!!!!!! I'll go with you - I have no patience for that kind of service! Do not feel bad speaking up. It's your dress, your money!
And I didn't even post about the church on the other thread. It's out of your control so don't even worry about it - it's like the weather - nothing you can do about it...

I definitely am, I felt bad about calling back, they make you feel guilty about wanting to have your dress comfortable. & I am not the type to make a big deal out of stuff either but when i am paying for more in alterations than some of my actual dresses I own I wonder. I mean how is it I can buy a dress off the rack & It fits better than these wedding dresses.lol.

Aww thanks. I really appreciate it. At least I am not the only one! But you will be proud of me . I spoke up & hopefully will be back with being 100% comfortable in the dress. (last thing I need is a B00b to pop out so i gotta be certain it all works..lol)

ON top of everything that I have to do, everyone is coming to the house this week. & asking me what to do for this & that. WHY must i figure out everything for everyone...
I am tired. & cranky sorry..lol

Welcome to the week of the wedding!!! I keep looking at our honeymoon hotel and checking out activities online bc it keeps me sane and looking forward to relaxing...LoL Just stay as calm as possible and all of this hard work will pay off the day of the wedding bc NO ONE will bother us...LoL

I will certainly try. I worked so hard last week, I was supposed to be stress free this week...aww well. at least my list is soo much smaller than before

you'll love your church pictures no matter what. You'll be so happy to be getting married that day that the look of the church won't even phase you. As far as the dress goes, you should feel 110% comfortable in it, don't worry about bothering them or what they say. You're the one that has to wear it AND you're paying them for a reason!
