I was soooooo excited about booking Patken. I thought they were great and so many people said they were great.

This morning I went on the BHB board and I hear some people saying bad things about them.......

Don't worry!! Everyone is going to have something different to say. I've heard great things about them. Maybe they had an 'off'day. As long as the good reviews outweigh the bad.. i wouldnt worry about it. I've heard one bad thing said about Velvet.. but i am still psyched about booking them

Don't!!! People are always going to have something to say. Listen a lot of people complained about the food at TWOTY.. but it doesnt bother me.. Im still happy my wedding is there.. its gorgeous.. the food at the tasting was amazing.. and the food i had at TWOTY (other than the penne) I liked..Everyone has different styes and tastes.

ME TOO!!! I was sooo excited to eat the penne ala vodka and i was sooo disappointed!! Good thing though is that now we know that its not great.. we'll go with the intermezzo instead of the pasta

what post was this? I do want to read it. I booked with patken and was so pleased with my descision and then i found out i was having a particular photographer that no one ever heard of. SO i freaked out and now i have a opointment with him tonight to check out his personal work.

I know the quality of the work is great at patken. I would of loved angelica glass but money wise and also she wasn't available during my month.

i used to get the same way when i read negative reviews but now i realize there are negatives about EVERY photographer/DJ/Hall etc. it just depends on your experience

i have had an incredible experience with Patken so far and a friend of mine highly recommends them so dont be discouraged!

also wanted to add:
i think it goes in cycles too like one person will post a negative then other people will agree with them so you feel like EVERYONE hates them
and vice versa for positive -

for example, my cousin used Royalty and LOVED them but for months i refused to use them since i read a million bad reviews on here. . . then i stopped hearing negative and started hearing positive so i decided i should check them out myself and now i booked with them!
