I am a very backward person so I am a bit nervous about how to handle this situation.
I have lost 14 pounds since I ordered my dress . . . since they told me it would not be in until 4 months before the wedding, do you think I will have luck in having them re-fit me and change the order to a smaller size?

Well it is December and your wedding is in July.. that is 7 months away.. How long did it take for your dress to come in? You may be able to determine from there... And you have to check with the store if they will reorder a size for you without a charge.. (unless you don't mind paying more).. But i am sure that they can take the dress in just fine. That is what alterations are for.... And you also have to remember that even though you lost the weight it is also the inches that count more.. Think about the actual size of your waist and bust line... If your pants size have changed a lot then you may have a better idea of how much will be needed to take in..

My Wedding is actually 1 YEAR and 7 months away (2005). I am just worried about alterations due to the amount of beading on my dress . . . I guess I'll call and talk to the woman I dealt with. She was great and I am sure she will do what she can if she can . . . . Thanks

Oh wow! I did not realize that it was in 2005.. Don't worry i am sure it will be fine... They can definitely work with the dress.. You have plenty of time.
