A Little Pissy

I met one of my FH's coworkers for the first time this weekend.

Tonight when we were in bed, having our usual end of day chat, my FH says 'Oh, Tom was telling everyone at work that you were really sweet and cute and that he can't believe you are marrying me.' I say 'Awww! That is soo sweet! What did you say?' He says 'I told him - it isn't all perfect.. she DID breast feed two kids for 16 months each.'

WHAT?

Now FH thinks that was VERY clever. And honestly - I am not hurt by it because despite the breast feeding, I think my boobs look fine (so there!) - but I am irritated that he said it to his coworkers. First because it isn't their BUSINESS what my breasts look like. Second because he is denigrating me to people I don't know when I am not around.

He says it was just guy talk and that ALL the guys talk **** like that about their wives and that he was just joking around. But I was still irritated. He apologized and WENT TO BED.

I cannot believe how he can just turn over and go to BED when I am so annoyed! I can't sleep - why should he be able to?

Grrrr... MEN!

Should I go wake him up and bug the mess out of him just for sh*ts and giggles?

men really are weird, that would definately annoy me, and id drive my man crazy !! for a few days...

I would definetly wake him up-if you are awake b/c of something he said-he should be awake.

i would be pissed too but i have to agree with him that all guys talk like that

at my old job the guys always forgot that i was a girl, lol and they would say the worst things about their girls - i knew they were playing and all but it was pretty bad

so at least its not just him who is a jerk!

Guys are so stupid sometimes. (They def. use the wrong head)

My DH says things like that when certain guys from work are around. I tell him that is going to STOP right now. Is that what they really think????
