A little sad...and not sure why!

First off, I am happy and excited because 4 months today we will be getting married!!! Yay!!

Here is the part thatis making me sad. I found out that one of my friends planned a vegas trip from July 1st. She had a save thte date and is someone I would have never questioned coming to our wedding. I know people can plan what they want and i dont own the date but am i ok to feel a bit sad/ I would NEVER say anything I guess it just made me realize that perhaps we are not as good of friends as I thought? Oh well, i know there will be lots of people and most importantly FH and I but i still feel a bit hurt.

i COMPLETELY understand, i would be sad too. especially b/c she knew the date and still planned a trip anyway.

don't let it get you down! all the people that WILL be there, will want to be there for you and those are the people you want around you!

Don't be sad! There will be plenty of other people there you prob wont even miss her.

just as a side note, maybe she got a great deal on the trip within that time frame? I am NOT excusing her by any means, but most people cant really afford a vacay these days so maybe she just got a deal she couldn't refuse?

anyhoo....I am sure your day will be fab with or without her!

I cried when I was told vins aunts (who ive met once) picked another wedding lol....

Its just too close to our weddings i think lol

This is one of the things that I learned the most during this planning process, not everybody thinks about you the way you think about them and not everybody would do for you what you would do for them. Just learn from it and appreciate the people that are going to be there for you guys, Your day will be amazing no matter what

Awwwww Lauren Im so sorry!!

I feel like during this whole wedding process, Ive already found out who cares and who doesnt. What hurts the most is that you thought she was a good friend and if she were getting married, you' d be there..no questions asked-

But you know what? If thats how she feels the fine. If she doesnt want to be part of your special day, then now you know where you 2 stand. I wouldnt waste your time anymore with her. Im sorry- but thats how I am. Im tired of making effort for people who could care less... so you know what? Im not going to waste my time anymore.

The people who love you and care about you and FH WILL BE THERE on your wedding day. Your wedding is going to be amazing and I want you to focus on the people who are there- rather than wonder why ______ didnt show up. Dont let it rain on your parade.
