A little tippsy

Ok guys--warning had a few glasses of pinot noir so I hope to not offend anyone. Went to davids bridal by smith haven mall today. All I have to say is it was not the experience i hoped for. Not to offend any one(if you got your dress there) but the material and style of the dresses was not so what i was looking for. Very disappointed!!

You have TONS of time to look around, think about it, look some more, figure out what you like, and make a decision. Don't rush things just to get it done, but take your time and enjoy the process.

Enjoy your Saturday night!

Someone suggested to my sister to go 1st to Davids bridal and to see what style of wedding dress she would like. She said she left the store in tears thinking that all bridal gowns were like this. I avoided this store when I went Bridal gown shopping.

I loved David's Bridal. Maybe it has to do with the certain stores, I have heard a lot of bad stories about a lot of David's Bridal stores, but my visit was great! Of course I am from Indiana so we aren't talking about the exact same stores.

It depends on what you are looking for. I don't like all that frou-frou princess stuff, so I was able to find something that suited me. Plus I am not a sentimental person and didn't have plans to spend a fortune on a dress that I plan to toss (though FH wants me to save it).

I had an appointment at paradise bridal in patchouge yesterday morning but had to cancel. At around 5 i had some time but the only dress shop that was open was davids---so I thought it wouldn't hurt to check it out. I wanted to cry--it was sooooooo bad. I am making appointments at paradise bridal and bridal suite for next weekend.

ITA!! Ive dealt with three different DB in three different states and they are just terrible!! Do they even train these people?? When I went to pick up my MOH dress for my sis, the woman asked me what color 'lapis' is. HELLOOOOO its the name for purple that YOUR store that YOU work at gave it!!

Coming from a serious BUDGET BRIDE...Davids has a lot of nice dresses at reasonable prices. I went EVERYWHERE to shop for a dress because I refused to spend over 1000 for a dress for one day. I have been to davids on many occations and have had good and bad experiences there but that was because of the people not the dresses. AND I went to expensive dress stores too and had good and bad experiences because of the people as well.

I think davids has very nice dresses and I did not buy my dress there. JMO!
