A little weird??

Fh just IM's me telling me that his bro, and best man, is bringing a date to the wedding.. he has not been dating anyone- and we figured he would only bring someone who was special to him- which is sorta what he told us..

So, the girl he is bringing is a married friend, who won't know anyone there..

Doesn't this seem a little ODD?

ok-- just got more info.. apparently she and her DH are getting divorced-- he fell in love with another woman.. AND btw- his marriage to this girl was his second and he has a kid with his first wife.. they also like JUST got married- like last summer.. poor girl.

ETA-- they are in their early 30's... so, 2 marriages ended before you are 35-- red flag!

So FBIL thought she could use a pick me up- and apparently she is a good wedding date.. although- someone who is getting divorced after like a year of marriage may not be the best wedding date- but he gets to choose his guest.

Maybe it will be a pick me up. She DOES know where she is going, so she is probably okay with this, maybe to get her mind off of things.

Going to a wedding is the last thing I would want to do if I was in that poor girl's position!
