when i ordered my dress back in may, the lady ordered me a large size. she did it bc i was 'blessed' with big boobs. well i have lost 12 lbs is the past 2 1/2 weeks and i want to keep losing. i am afraid that my dress with be WAY to big on me when i go for my first fitting. will the alterartions still look ok if they have to take it in so much?? length i am not worried about but bust and waist , i hope it still has the same look after they take it in. anyone else afraid of this?

my dress is about 2 sizes to big....but i've seen people have theirs taken in more than that.
Is there a lot of beading/details in the front? If not, it shouldn't be a problem.

Don't worry. I am sure it will be fine. My dress is going to be huge on me when I go one my first fitting. Don't stress it will be fine

i'm sure it will be fine! i too am a memeber of the big booby club, it's not a good club i'm worried about my dress as well. but these ladies at these shops know their stuff and they wouldn't order something wrong, b/c in the end it's only more work for them

I had to do the same, they ordered a size larger bc of my boobs and this way theres enough fabric on top lol and then they take in the waist...at first i was like wait won't it be too big, how much can you take in but then i just had to trust that they do this all the time so they know what they're talking about

Im in the same boat. There was a 4 size discrepency between my bottom and my top. I needed a 10 on the bottom but a 14/16 on the top, thanks to boobs. Now i'm continuing to lose weight and i went to the dress store and tried on the sample again the other day and the 14 was big on my stomach and fit my boobs but i ordered a 16. I still want to lose another 30 lbs so i spoke to the lady at the dress store and she was not even worried about it at all and my dress has a ton of detail. I even had the opportunity to talk to the seamstress and she said it would be perfect. Try not to worry about it.

They can probably take in in about 3-4 sizes depending on the dress.
I was worried about mine b/c it fits fine in the boobs, but they ordered a bigger size for my butt.(haha) They said they are used to alrterations like this and it will be fitter to me perfect.
I wouldnt worry- It will fit you once the alterations are done.
