Two nights ago, Tessa sent me an email. She said that the envelopes for my size invite don't come in that size anymore in IVORY. I was a little upset.
Then she sent me an email yesterday saying that she got me white envelopes in that size with pearl lining which she is giving to me for free. Now I was happy about the free lining but then thought with a cream colored invite, would pearl lining be weird????????

Re: A little worried....
I am worried because my invite is like an ivory color with black trim and black ribbon around the response. So shouldn't the lining be in black?

Re: A little worried....
It can definitely go either way....black lining would just pick up more of the contrast, but a pearl lining would still go and be very pretty, just a more subtle look. I definitely wouldn't worry about it, it will still look beautiful! (And no one besides us psycho brides are going to notice if it's pearl over black lol).

You are right. I'll give it a chance. I just sent Tessa an email asking if the liner was shiney or matte. I think it would be shiney considering on her blog, she mentioned that these liners are foil like. I just hope I like it.

Re: A little worried....
before you finalize what you want with the envelopes - see if she can overnight you an actual envelope with the lining? you have the sample in your hand for the invite - this way you can visualize it all together

I was thinking of doing that. I'll see if she can mail these to me first.
