As much as it has been my pleasure to hold the honor of the Newlywed of the Week, it is my distinct honor and pleasure to pass the torch to a most deserving lady.

First, let me thank my cheese loving buddy for choosing me….I met Leslie back at one of the first GTG & being that we’re close to the same age, we bonded. She always knows what to say to calm a person down; and she can always make me smile, especially w/ her Fred thought bubbles. Thanks so much Leslie!
My 06 girls…how does one begin to thank you for the countless hours of support, love and friendship you’ve offered over the past 3 years? I was almost an 04 bride and things worked out as they did for a reason and b/c of that I become one of the Rockin’ 06 brides…thankfully!!!
It’s so hard to believe looking back that just about a year ago I was walking down the aisle w/ my nervous DH…….now, just about a year later we’ve worked out the kinks of living together, finally picked out our wedding album pictures, sent out our thank you’s and are about to eat our year old cake. The biggest “yeaaaaa” of all though is that baby peanut is due in less than 2 weeks. Turning from a bride into a mother (or a mother to be) is one of the most wonderful experiences.although I’m at the point of apprehension and fear of the unknown….but also excitement of meeting our new little one and experiences the joy (& tiredness, work & no sleep) of motherhood.
What would I do without you girls? You’ve all been there for me whether it be when I was having a melt down about my non-arrival of my bm dresses….silly q’s such as whether to go w/ square or round cp vases or stressing over work/DH issues. You’ve never been judgmental and have become some of my closest friends. I can only hope that the friendships continue and grow closer as the years go by.
The GTG’s have always been awesome….from Cozymel’s one warm April Saturday to GTG’s at Jaime’s and Cold Stone and TGIFs and Hollie's & Betsy's & hopefully to BBQ’s and later on baby play dates!
DH was saying the other day at lunch how they’ll have a geriatric board down the line….discussing things such as the best diapers to buy (depends, etc.) or the best arthritis cream to use.
I just want to close by saying I truly appreciate the honor; it does mean a lot to me & lately I’m especially emotional and sensitive so I truly do appreciate the thought. You guys all rock!!!!
