A new poll!!! Please Answer!!

i chose Friday evening

the only problem is that people may miss your ceremony if you are not having it at the hall ( so if you are having a mass at 3pm) but by the time the CH starts most people will have time to go home from work and get ready and then they can relax and have a good time at the wedding

i personally dont like afternoon weddings - i feel like you cant really party down in the afternoon. . . and then its wierd after it ends so early

and sunday weddings - i know that most people cant really let loose bc they have to worry about work the next day

these are just my opinions! good luck!

i woudl chose either a sunday nite or friday nite.

i chose sunday, but bc its the summer and FH is a teacher. most of our guests are either reitred, or cops or teachers, so they can eaisly have off on monday!

I would choose either a Friday night or a Saturday night.
Sunday is fine since most Weddings end at 11:30pm. but knowing you have to work the next day you might not have as much fun.

I'm doing a Friday. . .it's like a Happy Hour. . .people have someplace to go after work. . .and then they have 2 days ahead of them to party as well!

If i had to choose i would say sat afternoon if you cant to saturday night because i think its the most convenient for everyone. but you have to do what works best for you. Good Luck..

I'd do a Friday evening... in the summer, what person wouldn't want to leave work early? A Sunday is OK too - everyone from LI has done a Boardy Barn once in their life, so being drunk on a Sunday is no big deal...

I agree with sat afternoon being awkward, your guests might be like, it's 6 o'clock, what do we do now?

i'm having my wedding on a sunday afternoon because its cheap ...but honestly i'd go to a wedding no matter what time of day or night it was

Boardy Barn is quite an experience!! It's so much fun!!!! Like a frat party only better. Everyone sings songs like Livin on a Prayer, Shot through the Heart, Sweet Caroline, Sugar, Sugar...etc. I think I may do a Hamptons weekend for my bach party and end it with Boardy Barn!! You MUST go! I'll invite you to my bach party!!!

ETA: Yeah, it kind of is an LI thing. But fun as heck!

hahahah!! OMG No wonder why all my friends belt living on a prayer at the top of there lungs when they are all drunk haha! Now I can see where it originates from! Awesome! Ill come to your bach party! But hey!! Your not supposed to know about your bach party!! I know, Iknow....I feel like I always have to plan things myself too....I just love being in charge of things...I feel more relieved, like I know whats going on!!
