One of my bms is also a hairdresser and is doing my hair for me the day of the wedding ( along with some of the other bms to save them money) I want to get her a little gift thanking her for everything ( including the free hair extensions and all the highlights over the past months!!) but I have no clue what to get her!! Any ideas?

You can keep her interests in mind perhaps.
Some ideas are jewelry, handbag, clothes, picture frame, something personalized from Things Remembered.

depending on how much you want to spend.. is she married? what about a nice weekend in the poconos or at a bed and breakfast?

One of my friends did everyone's makeup and I bought her a gift too. I got her a Nicole Miller purse from Loemahns. It was originally over $100 and I think I paid about $50.
