To My Parents As I Wed

Though you’ve given us your blessing, I think you’ll understand; Why I look at you so tenderly as we reach to take each other's hand.

A wedding is a joyful time as two young lives unite, Yet it’s time to think about the years that have gone by.

My memories are special gifts, their worth cannot be measured. The loving home you made for me my heart will always treasure.

And though I’m very happy as I make this brand new start. The love I feel for each of you is forever in my heart.
