Hi, I just got engaged on February 28th. This is my very first post. I would like to have a wedding no later than May-ish 2010. I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a reception hall that would accomodate a minimum of 100 people. Food is very important. I would love to have the food at Villa Lombardi's for my wedding but unfortunately I think they cater to larger affairs.
I did some research and came up with the following:
Stonebridge Golf & Country Club (in Smithtown) Smithtown Landing Country Club (Lessings food) The WaterMill
If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
PS..Even though these are in Suffolk, Nassau is actually easier for us (Church is in Queens) so please don't hesitate if you have any ideas (Nassau or Suffolk). Thanks!

Re: A nice RH with a low minimum?
stonebridge cc will def work with you and they do one wedding a day so you can be as flexible as you want. you're their only bride that day which is a nice perk. they are pretty easy to get too b/c they are at the end of the northern state. give them a call

Re: A nice RH with a low minimum?
Im getting married at Villa Lombardis on a sunday afternoon in July and my minimum is 75 people. HTH!
What about the Crest Hollow? If I check out the Fox Hollow, I may as well check out Crest since it's so close.

Westbury Manor has two rooms for smaller wedding; Garden and Hill Room. The Hill room is upstairs and it's for under 100 ppl i think and Garden room can go up to 120 from what i remember. And def. ask for Felicia she is amazing!

Trumpets at the Gate in Eastport
Your max guest is 119 not including vendors and you are getting restaurant quality food....they have a restaurant right next door to the RH and that is the type of food you are getting...not RH food. I think the min. you can have is 50 or 60

Re: A nice RH with a low minimum?
i was a stonebridge bride and we had the absolute BEST experience there. the food is unbelievable and all of our guests loved the place and for months after kept telling us what a great time they had and what a great venue we chose, we still have people raving to us. everything was perfect, we had the most amazing wedding there...any questions be sure to FM me, and check my album or review for pictures.
