A (not so) radical idea.

Before you make a post, try and flip it around so that the question affects you or someone you like. Same with a comment. If it seems nasty or rude or insulting, IT PROBABLY IS and keep it to yourself. If there is no benefit in it being said, DON'T share it. Bottom line, if it was said to you and you might be offended, then no sh*t, someone else likely will be too!

Re: A (not so) radical idea.

I hate to disagree but what I hate worse then the dumb drama is coming on here to ten posts about 'what to do to all be friends again' ....We wont be..simple as that. I did it myself a few weeks ago..BIG mistake. I shouldn't even post if I feel this way, but I'm in a glass half empty type of mood.

Fair enough. But what I really want to post I posted once before and was (inexplicably to me) FLAMED. So I say again...I am staggered by the folks who come on solely to create drama and then act all surprised that drama exists. So I tried to say it in a nicer way. So aiming for galss full, you know?

Yes, I can see both sides ladies.

Why don't we just ignore the immature drama queens? For those that play into the posts we are just adding to the drama. Let's just ignore them. They only do it because in some weird way it feeds their egos.

Like I said, those that create drama have waaaaay too much time on their hands. If they ever had to deal with real drama (death, serious illness, house fire, paralysis) in their lives they would grow up and get some real perspective on the world.

Oh, and this is a group of women. We are never all going to get along. I grew up in a very male dominated family. I hated living in a dorm floor with 32 other women... ugh, the cattyness and pettyness. Guys might be messy and love to show off their prowess and 'letting go of gas' but at least by and large they are easy to get along with.

Re: A (not so) radical idea.

I'd like to go one step further with this idea, sometimes it is better to not say anything and just let things go. Sometimes the biggest problems are taken out of comments read the wrong way and there is just no reason to respond so nastily. You cannot always read the emotion in a post as you would hear it being said. Which is why so many people use icons to add that in. JMO
