A Poll for all Baseball Fans

Ok, most of us on here are very devoted to our team and stand by them through the good times and bad. But what would make you switch.

For me, I think if the Mets came out and insulted the fans.

Bite your tongue!! I am a die hard yankee fan!! I was actually out supporting my team instead of just posting about them!! And met fans are one to talk. They only come out when the mets actually win. I can remember years ago when their stadium was empty and there was never any mention of the mets,. Their fans were in hiding. Now all of a sudden they spent more money on a team and are actually winning some games and all these supposed met fans come out of the closet. Where were all the met fans in their rebuilding years to support them when they were absolutely dreadful???

I've been a Met fan for at least 30 years, I could never switch.
And beleive me, DH would love it if I did!

Now all of a sudden they spent more money on a team and are actually winning some games and all these supposed met fans come out of the closet. Where were all the met fans in their rebuilding years to support them when they were absolutely dreadful???

Ummm...actually the Mets only spent $80 million this year. Last year they were in for about $150.
So, they are doing better on a smaller budget...can Yankee fans say that?

WOW! sorry, but that statement is MORE than a little harsh!!!!!

How do you know if she is a bandwagoner or not? Just because Boop hasn't been a regular poster when it comes to our baseball threads does NOT mean that she isn't a diehard Yankee fan like the rest of us girls/guys on here!!

To Boop -- as a fellow diehard Yankee fan, I welcome you and your posts!! Just because you don't waste time starting 5 separate threads about the Yankees winning (like SOME Mets fans do when the Mets win) doesn't mean you are any less of a fan

ETA: to get back 'On Topic' and answer the original question ... I would NEVER EVER switch and root for another team.. NEVER (AND before someone says it ... just because I'm wearing the Mets garb doesn't prove anything )

But when your first post bashes the other team, that's what I take offense to, so I addressed it in my own, harsh, way

As for you being harsh? Well I only know you online. And actually you don't really seem 'harsh,' per se (unless it comes down to your hatred of the Yanks .. then it gets ugly!)

Though based on the positive vibe I get from Christine (Boosh, your DW) I'm kinda thinking she probably wouldn't tolerate a TRULY 'harsh' Don at home
