Ok, most of us on here are very devoted to our team and stand by them through the good times and bad. But what would make you switch.
For me, I think if the Mets came out and insulted the fans.

Felicia, myself, oct2004bride etc. have been posting on baseball for months and then you come out of nowhere and bash the Mets.

Bite your tongue!! I am a die hard yankee fan!! I was actually out supporting my team instead of just posting about them!! And met fans are one to talk. They only come out when the mets actually win. I can remember years ago when their stadium was empty and there was never any mention of the mets,. Their fans were in hiding. Now all of a sudden they spent more money on a team and are actually winning some games and all these supposed met fans come out of the closet. Where were all the met fans in their rebuilding years to support them when they were absolutely dreadful???
Not us, weve been through the good and bad with this team.

off topic..but the mets lost yesterday right sorry tired of hearing it from the mets fans, wanted to see how it felt... sounds funny they lose then a poll about switching...you SURE your a mets fan( any of you?)

As for you being harsh? Well I only know you online. And actually you don't really seem 'harsh,' per se (unless it comes down to your hatred of the Yanks .. then it gets ugly!)
Though based on the positive vibe I get from Christine (Boosh, your DW) I'm kinda thinking she probably wouldn't tolerate a TRULY 'harsh' Don at home
The only harshness we have is towards bandwagon Yankee fans, the ones who 'appeared' in 1996.

Don I think you need to calm down a little with this bandwagon stuff. And please take this the right way, but it's not like you've been on this site for a long time. I remember Boop as being a Yankee fan from last October when they were in the playoffs. Just because she hasn't posted a lot on our current posts does not mean that she's not a diehard Yankee fan. And you're one to talk about bashing the other team? Half your posts are about bashing the other team. And someone that bashes the Mets is probably a diehard Yankee fan, not just somebody who jumps on the bandwagon.

Im not saying that at all, there are alot of fans who supported them in the 80's when they were in last place.
